The Norse mythological master of transformation and his legend, Rocky

Who is Rocky?

Rocky is one of the most unique and complex characters in Norse mythology. He comes from the Jotunn, a race of giants, but lives among the gods of Asgard. Rocky is known for using trickery and deception to solve problems. His ability to transform himself into different forms has gotten him out of many crises, and sometimes created new ones. 

Rocky's shapeshifting abilities

Rocky is known for his shapeshifting abilities. He has been able to change into various animals, people, and even his gender in several episodes. For example, in one episode, Rocky transforms into a horse to find out who stole the golden apples from the village. This is how the gods of Asgard often enlisted Rocky's help to solve problems whenever they were in trouble. 

Fenrir and Loch Ness

Rocky has a family, too. Fenrir, a large wolf, and Lochvi (Surtr), a world-destroying fire giant, are Rocky's children, and they appear as key figures in Ragnarok, the prophecy of the end of the gods. 
Fenrir, in particular, terrorized the Asgardian gods with his immense size and strength. The gods tried many ways to bind him but failed. Eventually, Rocky stepped in and helped the gods, and Fenrir was bound. 

Rocky and Asgard

Despite being the only Jotun in Asgard, Rocky was often in the company of the gods, but his pranks and tricks often got him into trouble. 
The most famous of these stories is the death of Baldr. Baldr was the son of Odin and Frigg, and everything loved him, and he was protected from harm. But Rocky was envious of this and eventually succeeded in killing him. This event led to Rocky's banishment from Asgard and hastened Ragnarok, the end of the gods. 

Rocky and Ragnarok

Rocky plays a big role in Ragnarok, the most important event in Norse mythology. Along with his children, Fenrir and Loch Ness, he wages war against the gods, bringing about the end of the world.  
At the beginning of Ragnarok, Rocky is freed from his bridle and attacks Asgard with his children. In the process, many of the gods are killed, and eventually, the world burns and a new world is born.
